Teaching in Seattle - Tips for Students
Teaching in Seattle - Tips for StudentsTutoring students in Florida can be a very rewarding experience. Florida is an ideal location for tutoring if you have an international student who wants to attend school there. International students are even more likely to return to Florida than those who go to other states.Tutoring in Florida also has the advantage of having a large number of students, since most students who want to go to college are interested in education and are on the lookout for colleges to apply to. Many international students come to Florida after getting their bachelor's degree, which will allow them to go directly into a post-graduate program once they graduate. For students from countries that do not recognize higher education, tutoring in Florida can provide a wonderful opportunity to see if they would like to attend a college or university in another country. There are many colleges and universities that cater to international students. If you choose to teach in F lorida, you should get yourself registered with the American Association of T-Shaped Private Schools. Some cities in Florida offer opportunities for local tutors to participate in professional leagues. These leagues have competitions, so it is important to look into the opportunities in your area. A competition in your city can be good for your career. You will be competitively selected if you meet all the requirements of the competition. While there are many institutions of higher learning in the United States, there are none in Seattle or the surrounding area. These colleges have English majors, business majors, engineering majors, and humanities majors. If you are applying to teach English in a university, you need to know how to talk with students. You need to have a personable personality and must be open to talk with students. This will help you establish a connection with the students that will eventually end up helping you gain admission to the school of your choice. If you c an convey to students the benefits of going to college, you will win the trust of students who are looking for college opportunities. Most classes are a mix of education and business majors. Therefore, business administration is becoming increasingly popular among students. Business administration is concerned with financial management and planning. It includes accounting, finance, payroll, taxes, and more. While teaching students in the business program, you will find that students' interests are focused on the environment, human resources, corporate communications, and consulting. Some business courses require an internship experience, so if you are interested in working in a certain industry, take the time to investigate opportunities in the industry and see what the requirements are.Classes in Seattle are mostly taught by community college students. This can be a big disadvantage for you since you cannot expect to get the same level of exposure as a teacher who teaches at a schoo l. However, this could be advantageous for you if you have sufficient communication skills and can communicate well with students. As you can see, there are many areas in which you can learn and teach in a foreign country. Teaching in the United States requires you to have an educational background in some field. You may consider teaching English or writing in foreign languages. You may also consider teaching students who may not be fluent in English or in a foreign language.

Fake University Certificates - Tutor Hunt Blog
Fake University Certificates Fake University Certificates Fake University CertificatesUniversitiesAs printing techniques have improved over the years university certificates have come to resemble banknotes in the sophistication of their design. Embedded holograms, watermarked paper, and extremely detailed graphical designs are just a few of the techniques used to hamper efforts to counterfeit these documents. Many certificates are now made of polymers, and printed using special inks, making them even more difficult to copy. Ten years ago the price of printers that could produce the features seen on university certificates was prohibitively high - certainly in the tens of thousands of pounds. This meant only accredited education boards, who of course could be guaranteed a high demand for printing certificates every year, could afford the purchase price and running costs of these machines. Within the last ten years though the cost of printing has dropped dramatically. Many people can now afford a colour printer that can produce photographs of a quality that, until fairly recently, could only be found at a high street printing shop. The drop in price of sophisticated colour printers has been a catalyst for the counterfeit certificate business. For a modest outlay they can now acquire a machine that can replicate all the features on a modern university document. The advent of the internet has of course helped them, as it has so many other companies. The cost of setting up a website is minimal, and they can simply let customers find them, without having to advertise. Printing fraudulent university documents may sound like a negligible act compared to other forms of illicit imitation, such as counterfeiting money, but the authorities take the crime extremely seriously. In June 2015 a major crackdown was launched, which has recently led to more than forty websites selling these bogus certificates being shut down. Unfortunately these nefarious sites are like the many headed hydra, with numerous other springing up for every one shut down. To make matters worse the problem is more complex than companies simply selling fake documents - there are numerous websites masquerading as the official web domains of well known universities. These sites will claim to offer `Distance Learning,` modelling themselves on the open university platform, where students will be sent documentation and media to enable them to acquire an UK validated Degree wherever they are in the world. Of course no such service is offered, and once a hapless victim has paid their fee - often in the thousands of pounds - they may not even be lucky enough to receive a counterfeit certificate. These sites usually work by having a similar domain name to a genuine university web site, misleading people into thinking they are viewing the authentic page of a university. These fake sites are usually extremely well designed, and it would take an a perspicacious observer to notice that they are not actually affiliated with the university that they claim to be. `There was a bogus provider shut down by us a couple of months ago calling itself Surrey University, and we`ve had `Wolverhamton university` without the `p` in the middle,` said Jayne Rowley, the higher education services director at Prospects, a company which runs the HEDD, (Higher Education Degree Datacheck) which was set up in 1990 to combat higher education fraud. Jane Rowley has cited the danger of `Twitter Selfies,` where proud students pose with their university certificate, making the image public on their twitter feed. This innocent act helps promulgate the latest certificates, meaning fraudsters will have access to a treasure trove of high resolution images of the most up to date qualifications.`If someone wants to copy the certificate, they will be able to tell what colour the certificate is, what it looks like, the Vice Chancellor`s signature and so on. In the summer we spent a lot of time contacting universities to tell students not to pose with their certificates and then put the pictures of social media,` said Jane Rowley. Many of the companies selling these counterfeit certificates claim they are for `novelty purposes, or as a replacement for lost diplomas.` To a graduate leaving university with thousands of pounds worth of debt, it must be infuriating to think a debt free charlatan could poach a job they are applying for with fraudulent qualifications. Oscar Wilde described a cynic as `a man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.` In our increasingly acquisitive society, it may be cynical to state that the price of university education can be too high for many to afford; but for those who seek to purchase these false accolades, its value has certainly never been lower. 3 years ago0Add a Comment

A New and Improved Guitar Practice Routine
A New and Improved Guitar Practice Routine Sign up successful This is a common experience for most musicians, including myself. However, Iâve recently discovered a guitar practice routine that not only improves my performance but also makes guitar practice more spontaneous and fun. Guitar Practice Routine: Three Sets of Three I propose that you experiment using three sets of three in your daily guitar practice routine. This method is called interleaved practice (or random practice). I learned about it from a video with performance psychologist, Dr. Noa Kageyama. The first step is to pick three things to focus on. For a beginner, this might look like this: Verse Chords to Brown Eyed Girl C Major Scale Alternate Picking Now, start with the first item, the chords for the verse of Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison. You only need to practice that for as little as two to five minutes. Next, practice the C major scale for another two to five minutes. Then, practice alternate picking for two to five minutes. This completes one set. For the second set, practice each item in the same order for the same amount of time. Lastly, repeat the process to complete the third set. Simple enough, right? Why This Method Works Heres why this guitar practice routine works: As you move from one task to another, you force yourself to quickly forget what you just did. Then, because you forgot a task, youâre forced to remember it when you return to it. According to Dr. Noa Kageyama, this act of remembering is called effortful recall . Studies show that this helps you develop long-term improvement in a subject. With three sets of tasks, you can experience effortful recall twice to solidify the neural connections that will make the memory last. Tennis as an Example While this method is great for guitarists and musicians, interleaved practice has worked wonders for athletes as well. Dr. Kageyama gives this example in his video: A tennis player could practice their back-hand swing, forehand swing, and then volley shot each for 15 minutes. Unfortunately, this method requires a much slower rate of effortful recall than a player would actually experience in a real game. Instead, if they reduce the time they practice each swing to two to five minutes, they will experience a much more rapid rate of effortful recall. This will simulate the fast-paced demands of an actual game, and the player will retain more of their practice. The Effects of Interleaved Practice vs. Traditional Practice Itâs important to understand the effects of interleaved practice vs. your old guitar practice routine, where you focus on a single task for an extended period of time. In a traditional guitar practice, you become really comfortable with the tempo, the notes, the feel. You get really good at one song for one day. This can be very helpful at certain times, but not always. When you practice a song one day and then sleep on it, you forget a little about how you played it. The next day, you begin your practice from a much lower level of performance than if you had used interleaved practice. But, thereâs also a downside to interleaved practice. With this method, you donât allow yourself adequate time to become comfortable with a song. This can be discouraging in the moment because you probably wonât become great at that song in just one day. While this might seem less than ideal, you will notice the benefits of interleaved practice the next day, when you retain much more from your songs, and start from a greater level of performance than if you had just focused on one song the entire time. With traditional practice, you have to sleep and wake up in order to forget and remember, which is what helps to strengthen your memory. But with interleaved practice, youâre forgetting and remembering in a matter of minutes! Take Action! I know it can be difficult to give up your old guitar practice routine, especially when thats what youre used to. I recommend trying just one interleaved practice; if you like it, then make a habit of it. You can do multiple interleaved practices a day, or you could try just one. Follow that with a regular practice, and then go back to interleaved practice. Customize this method to make it work for you. After trying interleaved practice, I noticed a significant improvement in my performance. My hands just seemed to know where they were going on their own. In my students, Iâve seen big improvements in their retention of songs. For some of them, itâs been the key to learning songs quickly and effectively. I encourage you to incorporate the interleaving method in your guitar practice routine; youll be amazed what it can do for your playing. Happy Practicing! Looking for more guitar practice tips? Introvert Whisperer / How to Lead an Organized and Productive Life - 10 Highly Effective Ways to Lead an Organized and Productive Life - Introvert Whisperer How to Lead an Organized and Productive Life 10 Highly Effective Ways to Lead an Organized and Productive Life In this fast-paced lane of professional life, getting organized has huge benefits in bringing balance to your work and home. The way stress is ruining peopleâs lives is surely a growing concern in the society at large. No one can claim he or she is absolutely immune to stress and its future ramifications. However, it can possibly be tackled and done away with by being better organized. The importance of being organized lies in developing abilities to do tasks efficiently and effectively, yet enjoying the life as it is. Whether you are running a business, working as a lawyer, or are part of a non-profit organization, you need to bring some necessary changes in your lifestyle that can make your life stress-free as well as productive. The following tips will help you become more organized and productive: 1. Develop a habit of writing things down Relying solely on your memory can be counter-productive since at times you are not in your best position to remember things. Instead, develop a habit of jotting things down that you think are important. Putting it in writing will help you recall everything at a later stage without missing on anything crucial. You can also make good use of your smartphone apps to note down important dates and reminders. By doing this, you will have everything from shopping lists to holiday gifts to home décor to meetings and birthdays at your fingertips. 2. Prepare the next dayâs to-do list the night before Preparing the next dayâs to-do list in advance can be helpful for you in many ways â" you develop greater focus, become productive and feel satisfied. It helps you not to waste any time at the start of the next dayâs work, giving you a clear advantage to finish it in a timely manner. Spending even 10 minutes pertaining to the tasks of the next day the night before, forces you to think through them and explain them. Having a fair idea about the tasks in advance, give you a feeling that you have completed half of them in your mind. 3. Avoid procrastination Procrastination kills productivity to a large extent because the longer you wait to do something, the more difficult it will be to get completed. Procrastination is more of a psychological barrier between you and your work. You more often tell yourself that one day you will be ready to make a change; that one day the timing will be better and confidence will be galore. So how will you reduce the phenomenon of procrastination? You need to swing yourself into action and do the following things: Give yourself a deadline Break your tasks into sub-tasks Be accountable Visualize success 4. Keep putting things in their proper places Sometimes you get delayed in your tasks simply because you canât find necessary things to perform your usual chores. Keeping your life organized means keeping your things in their proper places. One of the simple reasons behind successful people is they often keep order by storing things properly. One way to do this is to make easy-to-access storage spaces for things you use all the time. Putting them back to those spaces after use will save your precious time. 5. De-clutter regularly Your goal of getting organized is incomplete unless you regularly declutter your things. Your primary objective should be to manage stress and boost your health by banishing clutter and restoring a sense of order in your world. According to a 2009 study published in The Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, people who kept their homes cluttered and stressful are more likely to be depressed than those who build restorative spaces in their homes. So get started by taking note of clutter zones that heighten your stress or hinder your daily routine. Moreover, a messy workspace can be distracting, so keeping your workspace tidy may boost your productivity. 6. Manage your finances The downside of being unorganized also leads to the mismanagement of money; you shouldnât rely too much on money. You can avoid this by getting finance management apps. These apps can be helpful in a variety of ways such as recording your monthly bills and document your spending. They send you reminders well before your bill is due so you can make timely deposits of your bills. With the help of these apps, you can also take note of how much money already spent so that you know exactly where your money goes. 7. Delegate your tasks One effective way of getting rid of stress and work overload is delegating your tasks and responsibilities. This will help you get better organized and focus on your more important tasks. If you delegate well, you can quickly become productive and efficient, and you will be able to meet the requirements. However, before delegating, you have to make sure that you have someone else who has the necessary information or expertise to complete the task. You have to ensure that the delegation provides an opportunity to grow and develop another personâs skills. 8. Keep a back-up of your documents, passwords and photos You may sometimes get worried by the very thought of losing important documents, passwords and those precious memorable photographs of yesteryears. Such a constant apprehension can drain your energy and productivity. But not anymore! It is better to keep a back-up of your most important things that matter in life. You can scan your memorable pictures and crucial documents and save them either in your mail and easy-to-access disk space. You can also centralize your passwords and sensitive data using an app. 9. Label stored food and perishable items Do you often find unrecognizable jars and Tupperware in your kitchen? In such situations, you are unable to find certain required ingredients for specific recipes since they go unnoticed. So you need to organize your kitchen setting as well because it is important to keep your ingredients in jars with appropriate labels. It will be extremely helpful for you to minimize food wastage by putting a label on all items in your kitchen, along with expiry date, name and quantity or size. 10. Prepare a routine and follow it deliberately Creating a routine and sticking to it helps automate tasks that need to be done whether you feel uneasiness to perform them. A proper routine will help you get better sleep, take up effective fitness regimen and eat healthy food on a regular basis. What you only need to do is to deliberately stick to the routine no matter what. This will bring positive results in your life and make it highly productive in the days to come. Examples of Linear Equations
Examples of Linear Equations Linear equation is basically defined the linear characteristic of the function in this case the function varies linearly. Examples of linear equation are given below:- Y = x + 4 Y = x Y = 3 x The above defined examples are one of the suitable examples of linear equation. These examples can also be defined by the graphical representation. In short, linear equation helps us to understand the graph of linearly function. Generally linear equation are of two types, one type is linear equation in one variable other is linear equation in two variables. This can be clear by following examples. Question 1:- Find the value of x if 3x + 4 is equal to 10 Solution 1:- Given, 3x + 4 = 10 Firstly we need to subtract 4 from both sides 3x + 4 -4 = 10 4 3x = 6 Now to find out value of x, divide both sides by 3 3x/3 = 6/3 So x = 2 Question 2:-Find the value of x if 4x + 6 is equal to 10 + 2x Solution 2:- Given, 4x + 6 = 10 +2x So 4x 2x +6 is equal to 10 2x + 6 = 10 Firstly we need to subtract 6 from both sides 2x + 6 - 6 = 10 6 2x = 4 Now to find out value of x, divide both sides by 2 2x/2 = 4/2 So x = 2
